Looking after all the different aspects of your life are so important. We can just focus on a few and fix ourselves with a face mask every time. This post will be about ten ways to practice spiritual self care.

It is so important to spend time learning to elevate your soul and look after your spirutual self. We can work on our mind and body with the external things but now it’s time to go deeper.
1. Give someone a compliment
Now this might sound easy and we might feel like we always do this, but its important to focus on giving UNCONDITIONAL compliments. Where we do it out of the kindness of our heart not because we think its a good thing to do. Take time to reflect on your day and write down what you have done for other people.
2. Spend more time learning and educating yourself
Watch documentaries, learn more about your faith your mind is a sponge and you can make the internet your best friend. Here’s a blog of all the different books I love. The power of nowis one of them.
3. Incorporate the knowledge into your life
We can come across so may spiritual quotes that we love but how are you practising them in your life. Learn how to create habits for yourself that will help you continue your journey
4. Spend time alone and reflect
Spending time alone can help you find answers to so many things. Everything we need to thrive is always within us. So when you’re in a good headspace just take some time to sit alone with your thoughts. Check out my video on how to journal here
5. Let go of things you can’t control
Simply remind yourself that you need to let go. Practice mindfulness, click here for my blog. Once we are mindful we can then become more focused on this moment and remind ourselves that we are not in control of the next moment.
6. Your mind body and soul are connected
It is really important to take care of your mind and body for your soul to also reap the benefits so you can continue on this spiritual journey. Check out my video with tips for self care here.
7. Look at the bigger picture
See the world as what it is. We are merely a drop in the ocean and once we start to recognise that we are so small its a lot easier to accept the world as it is and embrace everything.
8. Be mindful of your actions and what you think
Remember we can’t pretend to say something nice to someone and hold ill intentions within ourselves. Honesty and having an open selfless mind is the goal to ensure you are able to connect with your inner self. Check out my post about how to be mindful
9. Don’t judge yourself
Being on this journey can bring about a lot of negativity from the past. This can sometimes make us have a lot of regrets but take it easy and remind yourself of who you are now and all that you have learnt.
10. Be more compassionate
Once we start to be compassionate towards others we can practice that towards ourselves and create a happier and satisfying life.
