7 Ways to be motivated

Motivation can be hard to find these days, summer is nearly over and we just want to cosy down and hibernate. Here are some tips on how to be motivated.

I’ve mentioned this before but I am not really someone who is always had a lot of motivation. I’ve been working really hard on learning the ins and outs of what motivation is, why we don’t have it and how we can get it.

1. Always remind yourself why

Create a vivid vision of your goals. You could either write this in a manifestation journal or create a vision board. Sometimes it can be really hard but it’s not impossible. We all want something bigger, so all we have to do is learn how to imagine it. Take some time and sit down with your thoughts and put your dreams into perspective.

2. Practice reflection every day

Spend time reflecting on what you did and take a moment to appreciate yourself. It’s so easy to get caught up in the next to-do list or what we will do next week. Learn how to effectively look back at your day and improve it or appreciate it

3. Remove distractions

It’s hard to be motivated if we have a million things around us that take away our focus.

If something is important then value it and give it 100% of your time. Unplug the tv so it’s harder to get distracted in these tasks, put your phone in another room. Focus on one task and nothing else.

4. Take days off and slow down

Create a balance of work and play so you don’t get burnt out. If we truly focus on resting we can nourish ourselves which will allow us to give our all to the things we need to do.

5. Learn about how you live your life

The best way you can be motivated is by learning the details of your life

Know the best times so you know when it’s easy to be motivated, learn your own true life and learn how to live it. Plan your life, turn all your energy toward who you want to be.

6. Surround yourself with motivation

Let go of those who hold you back unfollow those people who make you compare your life too much create vision boards – create reminders all-around your home to stay focused on that. Meditate upon your goals set your intentions and make them real

7. Don’t wait for motivation to come, create it

Motivation is something you create. If we think we are not motivated, then we won’t be. It takes one second to make the decision to jump out of your chair or your bed to create the life you want.
