Get a gratitude journal
Writing all the things you are grateful for on a paper solidifies the thoughts. Instead of just thinking about what you are grateful for, which is still great, writing them down makes them stronger and clearer and we can create a positive life.
Celebrate the small things
Always focus on the small things; whether it’s your breath, your vision, your family your job. Anything and everything – be grateful for it.
Everything is temporary
Remember everything is temporary. Positive things and the negative things they are all temporary. Bad times will pass so take what you want and learn from them. Good days will pass so appreciate them deeply. I am so thankful for all the hardships I have experienced and I have been given the opportunity to learn so much.
Be grateful for yourself
You decide what you want your life to be. Don’t be so hard on yourself, lower the expectations you have because that creates unnecessary stress. You are amazing and you are enough. Learn more about how to love yourself here
Change what you cant accept, accept what you can’t change
We have all the control of our own lives. If we want something in our life we CAN get it. That control is in our hands. However, we are also just a drop in the ocean and we are not meant to control the waves. We can’t change so many things we might want to so we must accept them. This acceptance creates inner peace which then creates gratitude therefore you’ve got yourself a positive life.
Remember death
This might sound like a negative thing, but once we focus on the value of our life we will find it easier to let go of things that shouldn’t really affect us. We can start to be more mindful and aware of the value of each moment. Once we remember death, we can let go of the small things that might irritate us, as it becomes easier to move past it.
